Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Rio de Janeiro to begin our comprehensive excursion around one of the most famous cities on the planet.

We'll hop into a minibus until we reach our first stop at the summit of Corcovado, which is the location for the iconic statue of Christ the Redeemer, considered to be one of the seven wonders of the modern world. The viewpoint will offer you a spectacular panorama of the metropolis which stretches out in front of you. From there, we then head to the foot of Sugarloaf Mountain, where we will catch the cable car to the breathtaking summit.

Our tour continues at the Maracana stadium, one of the most important in the whole world. In fact, it was the largest on the planet for a long time and played host to the World Cup in 1950 and 2014. From its exterior, we'll recall famous matches from history.

Of course, no trip would be complete without a visit to the Sambadrome, the quintessential 1,870 ft long, samba venue where the famous Rio Carnival parade is held every year.

We'll also enter the Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Sebastian, one of Rio's numerous iconic symbols. This temple stands out for its pyramid structure design, which recalls the religious buildings of pre-Columbian America. Following this, we then head to the centre of Rio to get a taste of the local culture, climbing the Selarón Steps and passing the Lapa Arches.

During the tour, we'll also enjoy a buffet. When the tour has finished, we'll take you back to your hotel, where we'll arrive between 9 and 10 hours.

When booking, you can choose from the following pickup options:

• South zone hotel pickup: Leblon, Ipanema, Copacabana, and Leme
• Barra da Tijuca and São Conrado pickup

If you're staying in Botafogo, Flamengo, the city center, or at the cruise port, pickup will depend on availability. If it's not available, we'll let you know the meeting point to head to after booking.

Itinerary Order

• Until the end of May 2027, the stairways leading to Christ the Redeemer will be undergoing renovation. This may result in longer wait times and longer lines than usual.
• Please note that, due to organizational reasons or changes in weather conditions, the order of the visits described in the itinerary may vary. However, the sites visited will always be the same.
• Please note that the itinerary may be affected during Carnival celebrations. Should this happen, we will contact you to inform you of any potential changes.
